IV. Residual waste

Put them in the residual waste garbage can:

The black garbage can is the last stop for your daily waste products. Everything that you want to throw away and that cannot be recycled in the other waste garbage cans, such as the yellow garbage can or yellow bag, the glass container, the blue waste paper garbage can or the organic waste garbage can, can go in here.

This includes, for example, used hygiene and cleaning products, cooled ash, cat litter and bagged animal excrement. Ceramics and smaller items made of glass, such as drinking glasses and bowls, should also be disposed of in the residual waste garbage can. You should also dispose of heavily soiled packaging here. This includes greasy pizza boxes and aluminum foil.

Do not put in the residual waste garbage can:

The most important thing is: Do not throw in anything that can be recycled.

Before you dispose of something in the residual waste, consider whether the material belongs in one of the recycling garbage cans or at a recycling center.
